RON takes to the theater with a new live performance—an original musical show with the eloquent title "Al Centro esatto della Musica"—which draws from the opening line of one of his many hits and perfectly describes the artistic grace he is currently experiencing.
What better metaphor than "the exact center of music" for a singer-songwriter who shines brightest on stage, in front of his audience? But there’s more: "If there’s a place I’d go every evening to sing, it’s the theater," says RON. "Songs live in an ideal environment there, and sometimes they are reborn through new arrangements that I enjoy creating with my band. I like to challenge myself, and now I’m doing it more than ever. I’m bringing a renewed concert to the theater—a show we’ve worked hard on—because I live for music and I’m happiest when I’m performing for an audience… It’s always been this way since I started this beautiful profession as a singer-songwriter when I was just a boy."
Through one of the most beautiful and well-known repertoires in Italian songwriting, RON will tell his story with a setlist of over twenty tracks—featuring both iconic hits and new songs, including pieces from his acclaimed album "Sono un figlio," released two years ago. The show will also include "Lontano Lontano" by Luigi Tenco, performed in the version RON used to open the most recent "Premio Tenco" event. At this event, held last October, RON received the prestigious and exclusive "Lifetime Achievement Award," a testament to the growing affection and respect he enjoys from both the public and the industry.
